Dave Bland Engineering Achieve Conformity of Production

Dave Bland Engineering are proud to announce their achievement of Conformity of Production (CoP) clearance as part of their drive towards gaining European Vehicle Type Approval.
When we first realized we had to achieve Type Approval to enable us to continue trading as a body builder, we took the proactive view that such legislation should be embraced in order to improve the efficiency of our business and the quality of our products.
We decided that it was in our best interests to achieve this as early as possible from both a competitive and economic point of view.
Whilst the road to achieving Type Approval is not easy, we have found that getting over the main hurdle of Conformity of Production has enabled us to improve our efficiency and quality. As a result we feel that our customers can have even more confidence in our products and services than ever before.
We are now actively working towards achieving full Type Approval and our designs for underruns and side guards are nearing the testing stage. Once tested and passed we hope to be granted full Type Approval early next year to become one of the first recovery vehicle specialists in the British Isles to do this.
